With her new album on the horizon - due 27 October via Matador Records - Baker is fast becoming one of the most important names in the swelling US indie scene and has created a record "exploring the internal conflicts that wrestle inside us all: how we deal and cope with our struggles, and how it all impacts both ourselves and our relationships of all kinds."
